Press release on the numbering system change for TELECOM certifications (Test certificate & Type certificate)
In accordance with MPHPT (current MIC) announcement No.165 (January 26th, 2004; on changes concerning Technical Conditions Compliance Approval etc. of Terminal Equipment), certification numbers for Technical Conditions Compliance Approval and Technical Requirements Compliance Approval will change as follows.
Effective date: January 26th, 2004
This change will come into effect from the application certified on January 26th, 2004.
In accordance with the change, new certification number with new classification symbol "003"will be applied to certificates for applications accepted until January 25th, 2004 and not certified yet up to this day (January 25th).
Main change:
Classification symbols of certification bodies will change. The classification symbol of DSP Research will change from "JPB" to "003".
